Virginian's, There Is A New Proposed 5% Tax On Gas Set To Hit The General Assembly Soon
From American’s For Prosperity:
“In a month, the 2013 Virginia General Assembly kicks off and Virginians should prepare to guard their family’s budgets because some Virginia politicians want more of your hard earned money. One State Senator, John Watkins, has proposed an additional 5% sales tax to the already high price of gasoline, plus additional fees to fund highway maintenance and construction. Ronald Reagan once said, “If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.” Looks like a play from the ‘Virginia General Assembly Playbook.”
